Robert's higher education began in 1989 as a student of Clemson University, one of the largest universities in South Carolina.
During his studies there, he gained a wealth of communication skills while serving as an ambassador for the largest collegiate fraternity in the United States, Alpha Phi Omega. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1993.
Robert joined Identify Software - now a subsidiary of BMC Software - in late 2000 as their director of inside sales. His responsibilities were clear; to develop, train and manage a world-class sales and telemarking team to market their development and support solutions. In 2002, he continued to hone his sales leadership experience as Vice President of Inside Sales at Outstart - a leading provider of social business software and learning systems.
The remarkable experiences I've had helping software companies expand globally and gain traction gave me invaluable insight surrounding EAM challenges across multiple industries.
Robert held several key sales roles in notable companies. While serving as VP of Sales at MobileSmith, he increased revenue by about 200% in just the first two years of leading a newly formed sales team. This was followed by an impressive tenure as the VP of Sales and later CEO of Prometheus Group -- a leading provider of technology solutions for the SAP marketplace -- where Robert oversaw the global expansion of sales and the evolution of the company from its humble beginnings to a dominant force in the market in just three years. Before moving on to join Sigga Workforce Technologies as VP of Sales, Robert also served as the VP of Global Sales for Service Power.
A loving husband and family man, Robert has been married to his wife for over 25 years and remains an active church member in North Carolina. In addition to his passion for sales and sales management, he also collects wrist and pocket watches and enjoys watching college football with his two kids.
